My style is warm, empathic and genuine. I strive to provide an environment that is non-judgmental and accepting of where you’re at in your process while helping you get to where you want to be. I value having a trusting, honest and collaborative relationship with each client. I actively offer thoughts, ideas and practical feedback in a relaxed environment. I use an integrative approach where I combine evidence-based approaches ( CBT, ACT, MI) while also focusing on root causes that may be contributing to your current concerns.
I am a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Texas. In addition to my work in private practice, I have experience providing therapy services to clients of all ages in various settings including outpatient hospital settings, community health centers as well as working with veterans. I have prior experience providing therapy to young adults in college counseling settings as well as being the Director of Training in a college counseling center where I trained doctorate level students pursuing degrees in clinical and counseling psychology.
In my free time I enjoy traveling, watching movies ( particularly independent films), riding bikes and being outdoors/close to nature. I am a native to Central Texas and enjoy spending weekends with family and friends.
